Embodying Gratefulness Series in May
Embodying
Gratefulness
In difficult times it can be challenging to remember to be grateful for
the gifts and opportunities in our lives.
This three session workshop explores how an increased awareness of
sensations and flow in our bodies can awaken our sense of awe and receptivity
to the beauty and possibilities around us.
Using movement, dance, breath awareness, and embodiment practice, we
will explore the relationship between the spiritual practice of gratitude and
aliveness.
Tuesdays from 6:30 – 8:45

Collective Choreography for Social and Environmental Justice
This is an invitation to explore how dance can be a way to express our collective response to issues that are important for group members. Each two hour session will begin with free dance to warm up, followed by bodystorming on common concerns, and then an exploration together of different approaches to collective choreography that combine theatre and dance. This series is for those who are comfortable with dance, movement and creative expression.
