Still Movement
Winter
a time for inner reflection and journeying.
This 8 session workshop will explore how the wisdom of the body can be a
resource for living life graciously rather than in anxiety and fear. We will bring together the worlds of somatics
and meditation, sound and silence, movement and stillness. By developing our
proprioception (our body’s self-perception) through embodiment practice,
presence skills, movement, dance and stillness, we will increase our ability to
be in the present moment, to listen to “the small voice within” and to discern what is most life-giving for us
at this time in our lives.
Tuesdays 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
February 5 to March 26th, 2013 at Royston Community Hall (Island
Highway and Royston Road)
Cost: Sliding scale
(pay according to income and employment) $96 - $160 ($12 - $20 per session).
Drop-ins are welcome for the first two sessions. Pre-register to confirm numbers with
